Without the cops we'd all be fucked. I don't know about this. If there was total anarchy I highly doubt that everyone on earth would become raping, pillaging thugs. You wouldn't, I wouldn't, barely anyone would. Say 10% of the people took advantage of such a thing. That's a low population, and most likely they'd be killing themselves for territory which wouldn't be a bad thing anyways. The people would protect each other from harley driving brigands quickly. True, there would be no trial, but when you see them rape a woman you don't need to ask whether he's innocent or guilty. With obvious criminals such as OJ Simpson being released due to black jurors despite the evidence, how great is this democracy? He'd be dead now with anarchy. As should be. Instead, he's now free to look for the real murderer on the golf course. Bands (or gangs, groups of ppl, whatever you wanna call 'em) would form. You would have clusters of different groups of people protecting each other, instead of waiting for 40 minutes for the police to put down their god damn donuts and come to your call when you're being broken into. You know how many times the cops failed me? Every time. Yet they never seemed to take as long when it was something I did. I don't see how anarchy is a bad thing considering this shit system. Democracy doesn't seem to be much better than anarchy anyway as you have freaks and weirdos running everything in their religious vision (Bush, for instance) and they are highly power-hungry (it's why they become politicians to begin with) and corrupt (like the Republicunts in the US and the Liberals here in Canadia). The government fails to catch many of the criminals anyway and they even go after people for drugs such as marijuana. Anarchy would be much like prison is today, maybe. For example if you're in prison for molesting children or beating your wife, you're quickly destroyed if let out in the general population. That isn't a bad thing. The child molesting priests would be taken down and not shuffled, by order of the pope, from place to place to avoid the law. Anarchy in my eyes would be a wonderful thing.
