Is it that we're so afraid of dying that we keep looking for ways to overcome death? Why are we afraid of dying? Do we fear extinction, emptiness? I don't believe so. Failed suicides report extinction as their aim. No, we don't fear death so much as we fear justice. We fear retribution, and we're not even sure why.
