#206

Holy shit am I ever tired. Must be the constant New Orleans coverage. I asked an American friend whether or not he'd give a donation to the red cross to support the poor, the hungry and the weak people who were all but wiped out by the hurricane Katrinia and he told me "no." That it was "sin city." I hope he was kidding (he is mormon). None of the people there, especially the kids, deserved that hell. Nor did they deserve FEMA's terribly slow reaction to the disaster, and Bush's attempt to either bury it under the rug and point fingers at the democrats. What a mess. It would probably be best to just tear the whole place down and make it a giant park. It'll take about 80 days to "fix" the situation anyway, and all the houses are ruined from the water damage and must come down. And those levees aren't sufficient enough, as you can see, to sustain a hurricane's force anyways. The birthplace of Jazz can find a new place to live. They still haven't cleared out the dead. The water's a cesspool of cholera, e.coli and other toxic diseases. A few individuals have died already from infectious wounds from the water. It amazes me how fast the Republicants rush to Iraq to spread dictatorshit around, but fail to save their own people close at home.
