Misconception: If you can't trust someone, you don't love them. Fact: There can be many reasons why people have trust issues. The easiest one is having been burned many times (and ask a rapee how he/she feels about trust). Lack of trust does not equal unloving. Lack of trust means fear of being hurt, and comes from inside and is not part of the love equation at all. You're just going to have to help them through it. Respect it.
