Another kick to Freedom's already swollen balls

Ever since George W. Bush stole (yes, stole) the last two elections, America has been on a slippery slope towards the extremist right-wing dream of a moral and religious country, and this is yet another example. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) has proposed to enact a bill that would criminalize anyone who shows acts of "indecency" on the TV and on the radio. Things like nudity, cursing, or even farting could land you in jail to do hard time alongside the murderers and the rapists according to this bill. Folks like Howard Stern will be severely fucked if this law is passed (and I would hazard to guess that since Stern's the top shock-jock in the United States, that he's the sole reason they are trying to get this pushed forward). The likelyhood of this bill passing is very small, as they would need to tamper with the constitution in order to do it, and even then I highly doubt anyone in their right minds would gleefully hand over their rights, but just the fact it was suggested is utterly appalling, for lack of better words. I am afraid for the little Americans who have to suffer through this shit and I am afraid of what the US will be like in twenty or heck, even ten years from now. It takes but a snowflake to start an avalanche. They might aswell rename the country to the United States of China if things keep going this way. When will the time come when all you see on the TV and hear on the radio are bible shows? It's time you Americans stand up for your rights and tell these fools that you won't take this oppression anymore. If you don't, your country is going to go to hell.
